Eurocharm Holdings Co. Ltd. said its second-quarter normalized net income amounted to NT$1.34 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of NT$1.46 per share.
EPS rose 34.8% year over year from 100 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$88.1 million, a gain of 35.8% from NT$64.9 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 8.9% from 7.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 17.0% on an annual basis to NT$989.7 million from NT$845.7 million, and total operating expenses rose 15.2% from the prior-year period to NT$872.5 million from NT$757.2 million.
Reported net income grew 22.4% year over year to NT$96.4 million, or NT$1.47 per share, from NT$78.8 million, or NT$1.21 per share.
