ASR Nederland NV's asset management arm launched a fund specializing in Dutch residential mortgages and eyeing investments worth around €2 billion, IPE Real Estate reported.
Initial clients have already signed up for ASR Hypotheekfonds, with a spokesperson revealing that a family office and a small insurer have invested €10 million, while a pension fund has pledged to make an investment in June.
The fund will include fresh a.s.r. WelThuis mortgages and participants can opt for either of two sub-funds. One of the funds contains state-guaranteed mortgages supported by the National Mortgage Guarantee while the other comprises of non-NHG house loans, allowing participants the opportunity to invest in accordance with their preferred risk-return ratio.
