Kimco Realty Corp. detailed $53.1 million of property acquisitions and $113.2 million of sales made in the first quarter.
In the quarter, the company acquired two operating properties for $43.1 million, one of which involves the $38.0 million purchase of the 142,000-square-foot Plaza Del Prado shopping center in Glenview, Ill. The other deal is its $5.1 million purchase of an "improved retail parcel" at the company's Columbia Crossing shopping center in Columbia, Md.
Additionally, Kimco paid $10.0 million for a 90% ownership stake in the $160 million Lincoln Square mixed-use development project in Philadelphia.
The company's first-quarter sales cover eight shopping centers encompassing 948,000 square feet and one land parcel, with Kimco's share of the sales price being $65.8 million.
