4916601 said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 came to ¥22.91 per share, an increase from ¥7.84 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥228.8 million, a gain from ¥78.3 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 1.9% from 0.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue came to ¥12.08 billion, compared with ¥12.17 billion in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses declined on an annual basis to ¥11.86 billion from ¥12.00 billion.

Reported net income declined 85.2% year over year to ¥212.0 million, or ¥21.23 per share, from ¥1.43 billion, or ¥143.41 per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥98.42 per share, an increase of 39.3% from ¥70.68 per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was ¥982.8 million, an increase of 39.2% from ¥705.8 million in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue decreased on an annual basis to ¥48.62 billion from ¥50.03 billion, and total operating expenses fell on an annual basis to ¥47.78 billion from ¥49.42 billion.
