Starbucks expands delivery service to 5 more US markets

Starbucks Corp. is expanding its delivery service to five new U.S. markets, according to an Oct. 22 release.

The Seattle-based café chain said its delivery option is now available in Atlanta, Denver, Phoenix, Philadelphia and New Jersey. The service was also further extended in New York's metropolitan area.

Starbucks Delivers was launched as a pilot with Uber Technologies Inc.'s food delivery arm UberEats in 2018 with an aim to make it available nationwide by early 2020.

The service is available in 16 major U.S markets and 15 global markets including Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, the U.K. and Vietnam.
