Zurich's public prosecutor is looking into Credit Suisse Group AG
The prosecutor has already seized mobile phones and computers as part of the investigation and is also eyeing other targets in addition to the private detectives who were hired to investigate whether Khan was trying to poach Credit Suisse employees, Tages-Anzeiger wrote, citing documents related to the probe.
The prosecutor is also seeking to identify who made the order to spy on Khan and has "sufficient suspicion" that current Credit Suisse staff commissioned the move, according to the report.
COO Pierre-Olivier Bouée resigned Oct. 1 after taking responsibility for ordering the spying. Bouée said he acted alone and that he did not discuss the decision with any other executives and directors of the bank. CEO Tidjane Thiam was cleared of any responsibility in the spying affair, which Credit Suisse said had resulted in "severe reputational damage" to the company.
