Serbian central bank cuts key policy rate to 3.25%

The Serbian central bank decided to reduce its key policy rate by 25 basis points to 3.25%, citing low inflationary pressures.

February's annual inflation fell to 1.5% while core inflation stood at 1.3%. The executive board of the National Bank of Serbia projects inflation to ease further in the coming months and that inflation will gradually approach the target midpoint in 2019, supported by domestic demand growth.
