Hong Kong Exchanges suspends trading in derivatives market

Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd. suspended trading in its derivatives market for the afternoon and after-hour trading sessions at 2 p.m. Hong Kong time on Sept. 5.

The exchange said it suspended trading due to prolonged connectivity issues on the Hong Long Futures Automatic Trading System. The clearing system for derivatives will remain open for the afternoon session only.

All other markets are operating normally, HKEx added.
