Visa to build new headquarters in Dubai

U.S.-based payments giant Visa Inc. is building a new headquarters in the United Arab Emirates, which will include an innovation hub.

The new facility will increase Visa's staffing capacity in the country to more than 500 people. and will cater to Visa's operations in central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Arabian Business reported Oct. 21.

Visa appointed Sweid & Sweid to build its new Dubai headquarters — expected to be completed in June 2021, the report noted.

Visa's new facility will be built in the heart of Dubai Media City.
