Srei Infrastructure Finance to raise up to 175B rupees in fiscal 2017

Srei Infrastructure Finance Ltd. plans to raise up to 175 billion Indian rupees in fiscal 2017-2018 by issuing nonconvertible debentures and commercial paper.

The company said it plans to issue up to 25 billion rupees in secured redeemable nonconvertible debentures and up to 50 billion rupees worth of commercial paper in the fiscal year. It will also issue up to 100 billion rupees in secured and unsecured nonconvertible debentures at any point in time during fiscal 2017-2018.

As of Jan. 24, US$1 was equivalent to 68.11 Indian rupees.
