L'Occitane International SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30 came to €24.8 million, a gain from €8.0 million in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
Total revenue increased 8.9% on an annual basis to €485.9 million from €446.4 million, and total operating expenses increased 7.0% year over year to €454.0 million from €424.5 million.
Reported net income rose from the prior-year period to €36.8 million, or 2 cents per share, from €13.2 million, or 1 cents per share.
