National Veterinary Care divests online retail business

Australia's National Veterinary Care Ltd. said it sold its New Zealand-based online retail business Pet Post.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The company said Pet Post's financial contribution was immaterial, and that its divestment is part of an ongoing strategic review of assets and non-core businesses.

National Veterinary Care acquired Pet Post through its purchase of Pet Doctors Group in October. Integration of all other Pet Doctors Group businesses is progressing well, according to National Veterinary Care.

National Veterinary Care provides veterinary services in Australia and New Zealand.
