Google negotiating for more space at GPT building in Sydney

Google Inc. is in talks with GPT Group for more space at workplace6 in Pyrmont, Sydney, The Australian reported.

Google is an anchor tenant at the complex, which serves as its Sydney headquarters. According to the Jan. 26 report, GPT earlier confirmed that Google has contracted 9,850 square meters of office space at the property until 2021. The two parties, however, declined to comment on Google's expansion, believed to be driven by co-tenant Accenture's possible exit from the property.

The six-level, grade A building in Darling Island spans approximately 18,000 square meters and is fully occupied.
