Mizuho Financial to raise US$1.6B in notes

Mizuho Financial Group Inc. plans to raise US$1.6 billion through the issuance of senior notes.

The company will issue US$600 million of six-year fixed-to-floating rate notes carrying a coupon of 2.555%; US$500 million of 11-year fixed-to-floating rate notes priced with a coupon of 2.869%; and US$500 million of four-year floating rate notes, according to a Sept. 9 release.

The notes will be listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd.
