Aristocrat Leisure Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal full year ended Sept. 30 came to 26 Australian cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 36 cents per share.
EPS increased 44.0% year over year from 18 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$167.8 million, a gain of 60.5% from A$104.6 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 10.6% from 12.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 89.1% on an annual basis to A$1.58 billion from A$833.7 million, and total operating expenses increased 87.3% year over year to A$1.24 billion from A$663.8 million.
Reported net income increased 33.7% year over year to A$156.4 million, or 25 cents per share, from A$117.0 million, or 21 cents per share.
