Aurum Pacific (China) Q1 loss narrows YOY

Aurum Pacific (China) Group Ltd. said its first-quarter normalized net income was a loss of HK$751,750, compared with a loss of HK$2.7 million in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin climbed to negative 9.1% from negative 48.7% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 50.5% year over year to HK$8.2 million from HK$5.5 million, and total operating expenses increased year over year to HK$10.8 million from HK$10.4 million.

Reported net income came to a loss of HK$2.1 million, or a loss of 0 cents per share, compared to a loss of HK$4.8 million, or a loss of 1 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
