KDDL Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to 3.64 Indian rupees per share, an increase of 49.2% from 2.44 rupees per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 31.9 million rupees, an increase of 41.8% from 22.5 million rupees in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 2.7% from 2.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 28.6% on an annual basis to 1.19 billion rupees from 922.2 million rupees, and total operating expenses rose 28.4% from the prior-year period to 1.09 billion rupees from 850.0 million rupees.
Reported net income rose 34.8% on an annual basis to 33.3 million rupees, or 3.80 rupees per share, from 24.7 million rupees, or 2.68 rupees per share.
As of Feb. 2, US$1 was equivalent to 61.72 Indian rupees.
