Ahold Delhaize repurchases €17.5M worth of shares

Dutch food retailer Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize NV said Aug. 20 it repurchased €17.5 million worth of its shares between Aug. 12 and Aug. 16 as part of its €1 billion share repurchase program announced in November 2018.

The company bought 857,700 shares at an average price of €20.41 each.

Ahold Delhaize has so far bought back 34,251,387 shares under the program for a total consideration of €738.6 million.

The latest transaction follows the company's repurchase of €17.3 million worth of shares from Aug. 5-9.
