Meteoric Resources NL said Nov. 12 that it is set to start a maiden 500-meter drilling program at the Joyce River copper-cobalt-gold project in Ontario.
After receiving final government approvals, the company will drill an initial eight holes at shallow electromagnetic targets that are immediately below massive and disseminated sulfide mineralization mapped at surface.
The company will evaluate whether to extend the program based on the results of the initial drilling.
The Joyce River project is within the Uchi greenstone belt covering over 4.6 square kilometers and is prospective for cobalt-copper-gold mineralization.
Meteoric signed a binding deal to acquire the project in May.
