ADNOC grants $900M supply contract to French pipe manufacturer

State-owned Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. granted a five-year contract worth $900 million to tubular solutions provider Vallourec SA for services and supply of tubing and casing.

The contract, whose term may be extended by two years, covers a full range of products for onshore and offshore oilfields, as well as conventional to complex wells, according to a Sept. 9 release from Vallourec. The French company will also supply a large range of "from mill to rig" services.

The company's mills in Europe, South America and China will supply the tubing and casing, with deliveries scheduled to start in the second half of 2020.
