Danang Rubber Q2 profit climbs 16.5% YOY

Danang Rubber JSC said its normalized net income for the second quarter was 776.64 dong per share, an increase of 16.5% from 666.58 dong per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 92.26 billion dong, a gain of 16.5% from 79.19 billion dong in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 10.2% from 9.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased 5.0% on an annual basis to 910.67 billion dong from 867.64 billion dong, and total operating expenses grew 5.1% on an annual basis to 738.86 billion dong from 703.08 billion dong.

Reported net income increased 16.0% year over year to 115.06 billion dong, or 968.57 dong per share, from 99.17 billion dong, or 834.80 dong per share.

As of July 20, US$1 was equivalent to 21,823.50 dong.
