Former GE Energy CEO joins Devon Energy board

Oklahoma-based independent energy company Devon Energy Corp. named John Krenicki Jr. to its board, increasing the size to 10.

The shareholders of the oil and gas producer approved Krenicki's nomination at the company's June 6 annual meeting. Krenicki is a senior operating partner at Clayton Dubilier & Rice LLC.

Krenicki previously served as vice chairman, president and CEO of GE Energy. His responsibilities included oversight of GE’s oil and gas, power and water, and energy management businesses.
