Sempra LNG names president, COO

Justin Bird was appointed president of Sempra Energy subsidiary Sempra LNG, while Lisa Glatch was named COO.

Bird was previously chief development officer of Sempra's North American Infrastructure business, according to a March 18 news release. Glatch joined Sempra in 2018 as strategic initiatives officer and will continue to be board chairman of the company's subsidiary, Cameron LNG LLC. In their previous positions, both were involved in the development and construction of the Cameron LNG export project in Louisiana.

Bird and Glatch will report to Carlos Ruiz Sacristán, who serves as chairman and CEO of Sempra North American Infrastructure.

Sempra LNG is focused in natural gas liquefaction and is pushing to develop five LNG projects in North America that would export 45 million tonnes of LNG per year.
