Industrial new orders in Italy rose 0.5% in March, after seasonal adjustments, as activity improved in the domestic market, according to the National Institute of Statistics.
The March reading follows a 0.6% decline in February.
For the three months that ended in March, new orders were down 2.0%, compared with the prior three months.
The seasonally adjusted turnover index was up 0.8% in March from the previous month. It was down 0.7% for the three months to March, compared with the prior three months.
