Nice Holdings Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 was a loss of ¥42.85 per share, compared with a loss of ¥52.15 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥402.0 million, compared with a loss of ¥498.4 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin declined to negative 0.7% from negative 0.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue fell 20.5% year over year to ¥54.61 billion from ¥68.72 billion, and total operating expenses fell 20.6% from the prior-year period to ¥54.92 billion from ¥69.16 billion.
Reported net income came to a loss of ¥658.0 million, or a loss of ¥70.13 per share, compared to a loss of ¥976.0 million, or a loss of ¥102.12 per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Nov. 14, US$1 was equivalent to ¥116.46.
