NRG Energy names EVP and general counsel

NRG Energy Inc. Executive Vice President and General Counsel David Hill will retire from his position, according to a Form 8-K filed March 1.

Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary Brian Curci will succeed Hill as general counsel.

Additionally, Christopher Moser will assume the position of executive vice president of national business development previously held by John Chillemi, who is stepping down from his role. Moser currently serves the company as executive vice president of operations.

Hill and Chillemi will continue to serve the company in an advisory role to ensure a smooth transition.

The executive changes will take effect March 16.
