Compagnie des Alpes SA fiscal H1 profit climbs 16.0% YOY

Compagnie des Alpes SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended March 31 was €2.02 per share, an increase of 16.3% from €1.74 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €49.3 million, a gain of 16.0% from €42.5 million in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed year over year to €421.1 million from €412.0 million, and total operating expenses fell year over year to €331.2 million from €335.1 million.

Reported net income increased 15.5% from the prior-year period to €50.6 million, or €2.07 per share, from €43.8 million, or €1.79 per share.
