T-Mobile CEO steps down as president

T-Mobile US Inc. CEO John Legere has stepped down as president of the company.

According to a June 14 SEC filing, T-Mobile's board tapped G. Michael Sievert to be the new president of the company, effective immediately.

Sievert has served as a member of the board since February 2018 and as the company's COO since February 2015.

Legere will continue to serve as the carrier's CEO.
