Inditex opens 1st overseas 'for&from' store in Italy

Industria de Diseño Textil SA opened its first international "for&from" store in Italy, according to an Oct. 17 release.

The store is part of the Spanish clothing retailer's "for&from" social initiative which aims to help introduce people with disabilities into the world of work.

The two-story, 270-square-meter shop in the city of Como will sell accessories and footwear from previous seasons across all of the group's brands. It will be managed by non-government organization Cometa, which provides job education and training for children, the youth and their families, as well as job opportunities for disabled people in vulnerable situations.
