Hong Leong Capital chairman steps down

Quek Leng Chan stepped down as nonindependent and nonexecutive chairman of Hong Leong Capital Bhd., effective Feb. 2.

His resignation is in line with the group's internal restructuring, the company said in a same-day filing.

Meanwhile, Tan Kong Khoon will be redesignated as chairman of Hong Leong Capital. He currently serves as president and CEO of Hong Leong Financial Group Bhd.
