Fuji Oozx Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 was ¥155.38 per share, an increase of 17.3% from ¥132.50 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥319.3 million, an increase of 17.3% from ¥272.3 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 7.2% from 6.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 5.1% on an annual basis to ¥4.43 billion from ¥4.22 billion, and total operating expenses rose from the prior-year period to ¥4.02 billion from ¥3.88 billion.
Reported net income grew year over year to ¥700.0 million, or ¥340.70 per share, from ¥278.0 million, or ¥135.30 per share.
