Thai retail property developer Central Pattana PCL will make about US$3.1 billion of investments in domestic and international projects over a five-year period.
The company's plans at home feature the Central Phuket project, which will offer a theme park and Thailand's largest aquarium upon its opening in September. Also included in the program are the refurbishment of CentralWorld in Bangkok for opening in November, the launch of the CentralPlaza Ayutthaya in Ayutthaya in December 2019, and the expected completion of the first international retail outlet in Thailand, dubbed Central Village.
In addition, the developer will team up with I-Berhad and IKEA for various projects in Bangkok.
Abroad, Central Pattana expects to complete the Central I-City lifestyle shopping center near Kuala Lumpur within two years, according to a release.
