First Capital Investment unable to complete Form 10-K on time

First Capital Investment Corp. could not file its 2016 Form 10-K on time because of the sale in March of its parent company, Freedom Capital Investment Management LLC, to investment and asset management company First Capital Real Estate Investments LLC.

The sale, which prompted executive and board turnover, is expected to close April 3. The company said it plans to complete and file its Form 10-K no later than the 15th calendar day following the prescribed due date.
