S&P Syndicate PCL said its normalized net income for the first quarter came to 20 satang per share, a gain of 14.5% from 17 satang per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 96.0 million baht, a gain of 14.5% from 83.8 million baht in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 5.4% from 5.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 5.8% on an annual basis to 1.75 billion baht from 1.65 billion baht, and total operating expenses climbed year over year to 1.61 billion baht from 1.55 billion baht.
Reported net income grew 10.2% from the prior-year period to 120.4 million baht, or 25 satang per share, from 109.2 million baht, or 22 satang per share.
As of May 12, US$1 was equivalent to 33.74 baht.
