Lukoil commissions 3rd well at Filanovsky field in Caspian Sea

Russian oil company PJSC LUKOIL has completed and commissioned the third well at the second development stage of the Vladimir Filanovsky field in the Caspian Sea, according to a June 15 news release.

It is a bilateral horizontal oil producing well, with an initial flow rate exceeding 3,200 tonnes of oil per day. The field's average daily production reached its peak after the well's launch, the company said.

In total the company plans to construct eight wells at the field's second development stage, including six producing wells and two injection wells.
