Liberty Health sells cannabis greenhouses, dispensary interests for $14.8M

Liberty Health Sciences Inc., a Toronto-based cannabis company, has sold some of its land in Florida and all Ohio-based assets to an undisclosed purchaser for $14.8 million.

Liberty Health, which operates 16 dispensaries in Florida, sold its 36-acre Chestnut Hill Tree Farm site, including greenhouses and other property, according to an Aug. 19 press release. The Ohio-based assets comprised Liberty Health's indirect interests in three joint ventures of 50.1% each, one of which is a dispensary license called Mad River Remedies.

The company is shifting its focus to expanding a Liberty 360 facility in Florida that will grow its cultivation, processing, manufacturing and distribution capabilities as well as support the dispensaries.
