Noble Environmental Power, Bankers Commercial closes sale of Texas wind farm

Noble Environmental Power LLC and Bankers Commercial Corp. have completed the sale of their membership interest in the 114-MW Great Plains I wind facility in Hansford County, Texas.

Noble Environmental Power on Sept. 25 closed the sale of all of its class B, voting securities in the facility, while Bankers Commercial Corp. sold all of its class A, passive tax-equity interests in Great Plains.

The buyer, Great Plains Wind Park Member LLC, is a subsidiary of Geronimo Renewable Infrastructure Partners LP. Geronimo Renewable Infrastructure Partners GP LLC has a 1% controlling general partnership interest, and 99% of Geronimo Renewable Infrastructure is indirectly held by passive limited partners.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved the deal on Sept. 6. (FERC docket EC18-129)
