Banco La Hipotecaria to offer bonds worth $6M

Panama's Banco La Hipotecaria SA will issue bonds worth around $6.0 million in the coming weeks, according to regulatory filings.

On Feb. 15, the company will offer bonds worth $5.6 million. The 360-day series K notes carry an annual interest rate of 3.875%. They will be issued Feb. 19.

Meanwhile, on Feb. 23 La Hipotecaria will offer $355,000 in 1.5-year series AS bonds, which carry a 4.00% interest rate.

The bank said it will use the proceeds from the offerings to grow its mortgage credit portfolio.
