Transocean Ltd.'s semisubmersible Development Driller III was granted a one-year contract for work off the coast of Trinidad and Tobago by an undisclosed client.

The contract will start in the second quarter of 2020 and will contribute $91 million to the company's contract backlog, according to a Dec. 12 securities filing.

In its latest fleet status report released Oct. 17, the Swiss driller said its contract backlog totaled $10.8 billion.
