Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) names chairman, raises interim dividend

Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) PCL appointed a new chairman and approved an interim dividend payment.

The company appointed Areepong Bhoocha-oom chairman to replace Yuth Vorachattarn, who is retiring. The appointment took effect Aug. 7.

Maybank Kim Eng Securities also approved a dividend payment of 68 Thai satang per share for the six months ended June. The company's prior-year interim dividend was 40 satang per share.

The interim dividend will be paid Aug. 29.

As of Aug. 7, US$1 was equivalent to 30.81 Thai baht.
