NextGen Healthcare to acquire privately held telehealth provider OTTO Health

NextGen Healthcare Inc. agreed to acquire privately held telehealth company OTTO Health LLC, which develops web and mobile applications for remote access to healthcare services.

Irvine, Calif.-based NextGen expects to close the transaction later in December, subject to closing conditions. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

NextGen, which provides technology to medical, behavioral and dental providers, recently acquired medical technology companies Topaz Information Solutions and Medfusion Inc.
