Dutch food retailer Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize NV said Sept. 3 that it bought back €6.1 million worth of shares between Aug. 26 and Aug. 30 as a part of the €1 billion share repurchase program it announced in November 2018.
The company repurchased 289,600 shares at an average price of €20.95 apiece.
Under the program, Ahold Delhaize has so far bought back 34,831,287 shares for a total consideration of €750.7 million.
The latest buyback follows the company's repurchase of €6.1 million worth of shares from Aug. 19 to Aug. 23.
