* Banco Santander (México) SA Institución de Banca Múltiple appointed Ricardo Alonso Fernandez deputy general director of risk, effective June.

* American Express Co. named Santiago Fernández Vidal CEO for its Mexican operations.

* Cooperativa del Personal de la Universidad de Chile Limitada named Pedro del Campo Toledo and Erik Haindl Rondanelli as members of its board.

* BNDES Participações SA elected Claudio Coutinho Mendes, Eliane Aleixo Lustosa de Andrade, Marilene de Oliveira Ramos Múrias dos Santos, Ricardo Luiz de Souza Ramos and Vinicius do Nascimento Carrasco to its board.

* ANSA McAL Ltd. appointed Anthony Sabga III as a director following the retirement of David Clarke from its board.
