Mc Group Q3 profit climbs 8.2% YOY

Mc Group Public Company Ltd said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to 10 satang per share, a gain of 8.2% from 9 satang per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 80.6 million baht, a gain of 8.2% from 74.5 million baht in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin declined to 9.1% from 9.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 9.5% on an annual basis to 887.3 million baht from 810.6 million baht, and total operating expenses grew 10.3% year over year to 763.3 million baht from 692.3 million baht.

Reported net income increased 17.3% on an annual basis to 132.1 million baht, or 17 satang per share, from 112.6 million baht, or 14 satang per share.

As of Nov. 10, US$1 was equivalent to 35.21 baht.
