Louis Q3 profit climbs 21.8% YOY

Louis PLC said its normalized net income for the third quarter was 5 euro cents per share, an increase of 21.8% from 4 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €22.1 million, a gain of 21.8% from €18.2 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 20.7% from 17.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased on an annual basis to €106.8 million from €102.0 million, and total operating expenses rose 4.9% on an annual basis to €67.8 million from €64.6 million.

Reported net income grew 11.9% on an annual basis to €30.6 million, or 7 cents per share, from €27.4 million, or 6 cents per share.
