UBS Group

* Zurich-based UBS Group AG appointed Chris Harris a managing director in its global industrials investment banking group, according to an internal memo seen by Reuters.

Harris, who worked for Lazard Ltd. for over 20 years, will join the Swiss lender in mid-January and be based in New York.

UniCredit

* Italy's UniCredit SpA named Aurelio Maccario chief lending officer, replacing Andrea Varese, who will take on a new role within the group.

Maccario previously served as head of the lender's regulatory affairs, for which he will be succeeded by Guglielmo Zadra by the first half.

Schroders

* Schroders PLC appointed Julien Houdain to a newly created role as deputy head of credit for Europe.

Houdain, who was head of global bond strategies at Legal & General Investment Management Ltd., will be based in London and manage the British asset management company's recently launched Schroder ISF Global Credit Income Short Duration fund.

Banque Lombard Odier & Cie

* Lombard Odier Investment Managers, a unit of Banque Lombard Odier & Cie SA, hired Alexis Maubourget to take charge of its new uncorrelated absolute return strategy for institutional clients, scheduled to launch in early 2020.
