Merrill Lynch names head of Texas Mountain South division

Merrill Lynch, the wealth management arm of Bank of America Corp., appointed Carole Wentz to head its Texas Mountain South division, WealthManagement.com reported March 15.

Wentz will oversee more than 3,300 financial advisers across Arizona, Colorado, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

Wentz, who was market executive for Merrill Lynch's Greater Orange County, Calif., region, succeeds Vince Fertitta, who stepped down from the role in February to explore other opportunities within the company, according to the report.
