Maisons France Confort H1 profit falls YOY

Maisons France Confort SA said its normalized net income for the first half came to 40 euro cents per share, a decrease of 54.2% from 86 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €2.7 million, a decline of 54.1% from €5.9 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue declined 5.1% on an annual basis to €250.6 million from €264.2 million, and total operating expenses decreased year over year to €246.7 million from €255.3 million.

Reported net income fell 58.2% on an annual basis to €2.5 million, or 37 cents per share, from €6.1 million, or 89 cents per share.
