UniCredit SpA issued €1.25 billion in 12-year, Tier 2 subordinated benchmark bonds.
The notes have a fixed-rate coupon of 2.731% in the first seven years. The bonds were priced at a 100% issue price equivalent to a spread of 280 bps over the seven year swap rate.
The instruments attracted orders of over €3 billion from over 250 institutional investors.
Barclays, BBVA, Credit Agricole CIB, Mediobanca, Morgan Stanley and UniCredit Bank acted as joint book runners for the issuance.
