Alpha Bank to delist GDRs from London Stock Exchange

Alpha Bank AE intends to cancel the listing of its global depository receipts on the London Stock Exchange because of their low trading volume compared with the company's total market capitalization.

The cancellation of listing and trading of the GDRs on the professional securities market of the LSE will become effective May 4. The bank's shares will continue to be traded on the Athens Exchange, while its American depository receipts will continue to be traded over the counter in the U.S.
